Good to know that Hugh Bonneville has something to do in the off season, but not sure I would waste another hour watching this show.

Really enjoyed the plots and the casting was excellent. Only gave four stars as there is no second season.

It would have been better in HD. I'm not a huge fan of the jerky camera/ hand held feel. Good cast and interesting story makes up for it. Will watch the second episode on the strength of the first.

Great watch, wish there were more... could have been so much. To end after one season is sad but at least I don't have to see it turn into drivel when the makers become more obsessed with money than a good story.

Totally loved this series. It's silly because they find an amazing new thing each episode, but the acting is good and it's great fun if you enjoy history. True, it's not science, but it is entertaining. I wish they had made a second series.
