Sam Lombardo (Matt Dillon) is a High School guidance counsellor accused of raping attractive teenager, Kelly (Denise Richards). Her socialite mum hires a legion of attorneys to destroy her former lover for hurting her daughter. But things take a nasty turn when Kelly's friend Susie (Neve Cambell) admits that it was all a set up to destroy Sam. Things become even more interesting when $8.5 million is addded to the equation. Also stars Bill Murray and Kevin Bacon.
